Thorneloe & Co was founded by Michael Thorneloe in 1989, initially operating from a small office in Charing before relocating to its current premises in Lenham. Over the years, the firm established a strong reputation for providing expert legal services to individuals and businesses in the local community, earning trust through its client-focused approach and professional integrity.
In 2007, Michael’s daughter, Harriet Thorneloe, joined the firm, bringing fresh expertise and continuing the family legacy of dedicated legal practice. Under their combined leadership, the firm continued to grow, serving a diverse client base with a commitment to high-quality legal advice.
On 1st May 2018, Thorneloe & Co merged with the well-established firm Hallett & Co, further strengthening its resources and expanding its reach. As part of this transition, Harriet Thorneloe became a partner at Hallett & Co and continues to lead the Lenham office, ensuring that clients receive the same level of personalised service and legal excellence that the firm has been known for since its inception.
Our office is located in the attractive village setting of Lenham, half-way between Maidstone and Ashford.
Parking is usually not a problem and is free of charge. The office is accessible to the disabled but we are always prepared to visit clients’ homes within a reasonable radius of the office if this is necessary.
