Agriculture has a special place in the economy of rural Kent. Access to a full range of property services is essential for all farmers and agricultural businesses. Agricultural businesses need to be efficient, profitable and well advised, at a time when statutory rules and other regulations abound. Hallett & Co have been advising farmers and the agricultural community in general since 1830 on matters such as:

  • Buying and Selling agricultural land
  • Planning applications and appeals
  • Single Payment Scheme
  • Company formations and partnership agreements
  • Share farming agreements
  • Tied cottages (and obtaining possession)
  • Agricultural holdings legislation

We provide extensive knowledge and expertise in relation to agricultural law and balance that technical knowledge with a practical and pragmatic approach.
