March 31st, 2026 saw Mark Dewey’s last day as Senior Partner at Hallett & Co. Mark qualified as a solicitor with the firm in 1985, became Partner in 1988 before taking on the role of Senior Partner in 2015. Mark has specialised in all aspects or commercial and business conveyancing over the years and will continue to do so for Hallett & Co as a Consultant, still working from the Ashford branch.
Martin Stevens who has been Partner in the firm since 2000 will succeed Mark as Senior Partner, effective from April 1st, 2026. Martin takes this up alongside his day to day work in the Litigation department specialising in Complex Injury claims and Employment Law.
